My newest page, with the SC April kit, Joyland.

Here's my journaling: I noticed it when you gave your bat mitzvah speech, so poised and mature. You're not my baby sister anymore. A bittersweet feeling.

Clearly, I have a lot of angst about my baby sis growing up. When I have children, Lord help me. Or rather, Lord help them.

The page I'm working on now involves my new fave color combo: PINK and YELLOW

Fresh, summery, and bright--I'm just loving them together!

Here's some pink/yellow combo images:

Fun tank top, no?

I love this necklace! Luckily, my husband has a habit of ordering me gifts from my etsy favorites, so maybe it will show up one day! Now that would be nice.....

These fun little hair clips....

And a handmade hat! Now, I would NEVER be brave enough to wear this myself, but I love the colors. One of the nice things of scrapbooking is being able to use the funky on your page, rather than on your person.

Anyhooo.....that's a lot of images for one post. I had a bit of a trying week myself (neighbor drama--extra annoying because I HATE drama), but I think the color is giving me a boost!

Hope you all have a colorful weekend! And if you have any pink and yellow pages, link me up!

  1. The pink and yellow are yummy together!! Nice!

And I understand the sister thing. My sister is 14 years younger than me and she is graduating high school next month. OMG, I can't believe it! She's grown up so fast! She was only 4 when I left for college! I feel so old now!

  2. Love those colors together. Great page, too!

  3. My sister is 8 yrs younger then me. She is an adult now, but I still think of her as a kid (mind you she still acts like one LOL).
I have a cute layout with these colours of my daughter. I don't have them on my computer though.

  4. Fun page! I have a sister who is 8 years younger. I thought about it along the way too ;)

  5. Awww, you are too sweet re: your sis. She is lucky to have you, I'm sure!

Fun page, and I, too, love pink and yellow - fab combination!

  6. Pink and yellow - way too fun! I love the layout about your little sis. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  7. So I randomly dressed my daughter today in a non-matching outfit of pink pants a a yellow onesie and I though...these are great together. And then I come here and see all the awesome pink and yellow's like fate! ;)

  8. Fun layout! That hat looks totally like something both my daughters (19 and 22 YEARS old) would wear.

  9. Those are very cool colors! I'd never pull them off with a little boy, but they are beautiful anyway! :) Great page too!

  10. how fun! I love pink and yellow too!
