Monday evening, 6;34 pm

It's a Monday night at 6:34 pm. For once, I'm not getting ready for school tomorrow or relaxing after classes today. But life is still full of good things. Learning. To-do lists. Time with friends. Plans. Phone calls to return. Emails to send. Packages to open. Scrapping.

Nice to know that life can still go on (fairly normally) even with all this change.

I made this page to record my feelings on finishing school:

I used the Studio Calico July kit, Continental, on this one. The journaling reads: 12 years of high school + 4 years of undergrad + 3 years of law school. School is all I've ever known. I wonder what the next step is going to feel like.

If you haven't figured this out already, I'm having MAJOR withdrawal from school. Yep, I'm a nerd, through and through!

This next page documents a good friend on her wedding.

This page was VERY inspired by Debee Campos' blog, which is gorgeous!

What changes have been going on in your life lately? How did you adjust?

  13. Both are fabulous pages! Love your use of banners in the first one and the white inchies for the 2nd one! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I know changes are sometimes good, but as I get older, the less change, the easier it is....sad but true! Having school withdrawl is a good thing ;)

  14. ok so change in general is tough for sure (i'm a huge culprit of the "worries of the unknown") but i personally found i LOVED the change from school life to work life - primarily b/c i found bringing home $ so much more rewarding than paying $ on a regular basis! those pages are gorgeous!

  15. OMGosh! Love seeing a 8 1/2 x 11" page from you, and it's so so pretty! The rub-ons look great, I'd be scared to use the whole pack.

  16. Gorgeous layouts, as always! Love those that incorporate banners.

Not much has changed with me.....except maybe the fact that I have a wider butt, and my diet will likely be changing soon. ;)

  17. I can only imagine what you are going through. It must seem strange to be done. Evan got injured a couple of weeks ago and he has to rest A LOT...so that has been a big and unexpected change to our summer schedule..but we are making it work. Hope you are finding some time for some fun!
