More Fun and Games

First off, thanks for the well wishes! I'm feeling much better--even tried some solid food today!

And for all of you who stressed the importance of general anesthesia: I hear you. Maybe someone will learn from my mistake!

I have a few new projects to share with you:

Made this one to help encourage me to forgive something I've had a hard time letting go of. Kept the design pretty simple, and added a bird becomes it seemed symbolic about letting things go.

Truth is, birds are symbolic about lots of things. Extra bang for your buck, those birdies!

I used Studio Calico's May kit, Granny's Cupboard for this one.

Speaking of which, a question for you--do you like supply lists? Would you like me to include them?

This one was made wit ha bunch of Lily Bee product I got in a giveaway box from the lovely Nik Harper. I also used my beloved new photo labels punch on this one, in the upper left corner.

This page documents Steve's cousin's second wedding reception--the first one was in Mexico. And I am inordinately proud of myself for taking a bad photo and making it somewhat decent with a close crop and black & white conversion.

And finally, a get well card. With a very sad-looking owl-like creature. He just makes me want to cry, so I put him on a sickie card.

I'm looking forward to catching up with some old friends this weekend! What are your plans?

PS--I just made my most favorite page ever (at least right now) last night--can't wait to share it!

And extra PS--I have a new project up on the Paper Posies blog today!

  1. Glad to hear you're not eating baby food! I love what you've shared, and yes, I love supply lists b/c if I see something that I must have, I want to know what it is! Have a good weekend!

  2. Keshet, I *love* your "forgive" layout. Thank you for sharing it!

  3. I love the patchwork-block look on that first layout. And the journaling/titlework. Such great pages! :)

  4. What a perfect, poignant page about forgiveness. :)

  5. hung out with my kiddos this weekend and might finish up my space . not sure .. everything else is in order so I guess some me time perhaps ..

so cool .. I have a Forgive layout I have to post so thank you for the inspiration to know that other people know it is a process

  6. Oooh, what a great topic to scrapbook. Love the patchwork.

  7. These are so cute! Thank you for the birthday wishes! XO

  8. You have been busy. Glad to hear you are feeling better.
On you 1st layout I love your idea behind this layout. I can't read the journaling, which I love to do.
Your 2nd layout is just beautiful. That photo is beautiful.
    That card is so sweet.
As for listing your product, Personally I would just skip through that. I don't even know 3/4 of the products I use teehee.

  9. I love that first layout and the little cluster of photo labels in the second is awesome, I love doing that kind of thing. In answer to your question on my blog: it's kind of a big move in that I've been living with my mum for the last 2 years since I got back from travelling, trying to get back on my feet. I'm moving in with a really good friend in the city, so it's going to be an adventure! I can't wait to have my own space again :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment! I love hearing your thoughts:)
