I'm guest blogging today over at Mama Loves Papa, and the topic is new motherhood.
Here's a peek at my post:
I read an article once that sums up how I feel about being a new mother. I was a great mother, it said. And then I had a baby.
Go here to read the rest. And come back and tell me what you think! (This is my first guest posting gig, and I'm a bit nervous!)
That last paragraph? Pure gold. And oh so true! Beautiful, honest piece
ReplyDeleteYou did great. i wish I could have read it when I was a new mom. Man, it was hard.
ReplyDeletewonderful! Hugs to you...
ReplyDeleteSweet!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Loved it! Love Penny
ReplyDeleteI thought that was a lovely and honest piece on the trials and tribulations of the first few weeks/months of motherhood.
ReplyDeletegreat post~so sweet and true!
ReplyDeleteyou're adorable! all your thoughts bring me back to 'the beginning'!
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear your heart in the midst of life, Keshet! I think motherhood after infertility gives you a different perspective than most. Sometimes I still have moments where I think, "but you asked for this! This is what you wanted!" It's a different sort of guilt to deal with. And it's funny, I thought the sleepless nights and craziness of two newborns were pretty bad at the time, but I'm starting to think I would take that over getting into everything and toddler attitudes! ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your honesty. Beautiful writing.
